Hello All!

I've just found this wonderful forum, after migrating to Melbourne 9 years ago (did this exist 9 years ago???)!

I discovered pomsinoz after doing a bit of googling looking for info on Aged Parent Visas as we're planning on bringing my Mum out later this year.

A bit of background - I grew up in South & West Yorkshire, and lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Stevenage, Hitchin and Ealing (West London) before coming to Melbourne.

I've lived in Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley and Rowville since moving to Oz. I'm married with 2 kids work in IT in the city.

I'll be asking a few questions around the Aged Parent Visa process along the way, but will be happy to answer any I can based on my experiences.

Am sure as can be that you will be able to research your parent visa questions here. There is always someone who knows or has been through whatever you will need to know!

We love Melbourne and are coming over for hols in November. Cant wait to come back over!

I am new to this site also but still live in the UK (Northants).

Me and my family have just started the whole process of moving over this week and are planning to come to Melbourne and very excited about it too.

We haven't a clue where to look in Melbourne as yet but any ideas and suggestions for a family of three would be welcome.
