Hello im new too!

HI Everyone
Really pleased I have found this site is great to hear about people in the same situation rather than boring those around me about.....shall I go? shall I not?!!!
Ive been looking to move to oz for many yearsnow even though I have never been. Lots of people I have spoken to have said id love it and should go for it,so im planning to go next year for a month or so and see for myself.
Unlike alot of people on here im going to be going it alone with my son (and hopefully my mum if I can twist her arm!) But as I have never been i need some good ideas where to visit next year. Many people have suggested Brisbane. Mainly I want a nice climate, beaches (coming from a seaside town I couldnt cope being awayfrom a beach!!) and a relaxed way of life that will benefit both me and my son.
Would be good to hear any advise!!!

good on ya for givin it a go! if you can, take mum when you go or could work out dearer to do it later!!
im in brisbane on the west side but its lovely here, about an hour away from beaches, good school's nice shops etc,etc, but its all down to choice really and what you want yourself!

Hi Kitkat,
im here in perth with my 3 yr old daughter, we came out by ourselves in Feb this year. Perth is a great place for kids-lots of things to do, very child friendly and family orientated place! good beaches and laid back lifestlye-we love it here!
