Hi

I am new to the whole thing, just (this morning) sent off my visa application with my first installment and am very very excited about the prospect of moving with my hubby and daughter to Melbourne.

I am hoping to be there in around 18 months - is this realistic????

Can someone please tell me who needs to undertake an IELTS test - is it every person on a visa application or just the applicant (in my case my hubby as he is going via skilled migration).

Would appreciate any help!

hi ya! welcome to pio! i would say you should be over here by 18 months! (if all goes to plan!) i think as far as im aware its just the applicant who has to take the test (but dont quote me on it!) people will be along soon who know more than me!!

Hi Diana welcome to PIO you'll soon be addicted to the site like the rest of us. I would say 18 months is realistic, but it depends on what visa your applying for. Sorry i cannot help you with the IELTS tests as i do not know nothing about these. Someone will help you out though
