New to pio, Were in Brisbane?

Hi everyone
We have been talking of moving to aus for the last few years and have decided that now is the time, Iam Lisa (37) self employed hairdresser, hubby(nearly37) operations director, and we have 2 children Keelan he is 10 plays rugby league, footy, fishing just about everything a very outdoor boy, Bronia(7) she is a very good gymnast and cheerleader, we are looking brisbane way, just wondering about were the best suburb would be to cater for my childrens many hobbies, obviously a good school, and close to beach, if not within walking distance just a shortish drive.
I was wondering if the same applies there as perth that hairdressers have to take a test to continue with your hairdressing?hope there is help out there.

We have been reading the forums for the last 9 months and it has helped to make our decision on moving to Brisbane.(but were)!!
