Hello The Big Adventure Begins for Us!
We've just decided it time to make the move to Oz! We've decided on Queensland, as I've been out there before and loved it! We've only just started getting info this week about visa applications and agents etc.

Any advice would becomed . Agent or DIY? Which agents? Where are the good seminars? Is there anything we need to be doing now that we might not thought of?

My partner works in computer support (10yrs) and has a HND in computer studies, does anyone know which type of visa would be best?

HI & Welcome to PIO

First stop I would say is to phone a couple of agents to get some free advice. They will tell you the best Visa to go for. Personally if I were you and your OH is on the skilled list and meets the criteria I would go for the 175 as this gives you PR. There is a London Expo I believe coming up soon, thought the date was on here (PIO) but cant see it now, try and look it up on internet.

Hi,

We went on an emigration seminar - got to talk to quite a few people which was good to see these people face-to-face and see what you think of them. Rang round loads of agents for free advice - believe me take it up.

We've now got an agent - Visa-Go - who have so far been fantastic - wouldn't be when I am now without them ( which I know isn't that far but would still be struggling with paperwork).

Well done for getting the ball moving ,hope you find a good agent.The visa process im sure is sent to try usits so frustarting with loadssss of waiting ,lol, well worth it once your here though ,good luck
