Queensland/New South Wales for Newbies!

My OH and I are thinking of going to OZ on holiday this year to see whether we would like to stay or not. I would like to try Queensland and New South Wales. They look great and with lots of things to do but are they a good place to stay? My OH is in the building trade and I would be looking to do something in accountancy or secretarial. Can anyone help? Thanks

There seems to be plenty ofwork around Gold Coast and Brisbane ,but i cant comment on NSW.Have you thought of hiring a camper van and travelling up and down the coast ,id love to do that ,there sure is some lovely places.Job wise have a look on ww.sek.com as you can search by area.Good luck with everything

Cal, i really appreciate your advice. Sorry to ask this but is it quite safe in the Camper Van? We did it down South last year however was not that keen. However if it is beneficial in us finding out where we want to stay then i think it may be worthwhile. thanks for the tip regarding jobs. Really appreciate you taking the time and giving us advice.
