Hello everyone, I'm new to the site, just found it this week. I'm planning on moving to Melbourne next year with my girlfriend. I'm a coded welder and just passed my TRA, just waiting for my agent to sort out the next part. Really looking forward to it, my girlfriend is from Melbourne, so she keeps telling me about all wonderful things to see and do!!

My friend emigrated to Melbourne to be with his Australian girlfriend, (now wife and 3 children!). He's an electrician and never short of work so I am sure most trades would be the same there. It's a great place, varied seasons, very cosmopolitan and hip.
