Hol or just go??

Hi Guys,

Was just wondering what most people would or have done. I moved back to england when i was 3 so cannot remeber oz at all. I have family there that come and visit us and most people are saying to go for a hol first . Surely going for a hol would be totally different to actually living there though? Or should we just make the jump and go without visiting first. Can anyone tell us what they did ?

Hi there, i had travelled the east coast for a couple of months a few yrs back but decided to move to perth-had never been, enjoying it though. It seems alot of people do jump straight in without holidaying here first. I guess its a good opportunity to look around at potential areas to live/schools/jobs etc and check things out, but other people have managed to settle in well without a trip first. Guess it depends on finances and desperate you are to get here-time wise. Good luck!

Thanks, it would be good to check out schools etc but we would have the kids in tow so would prob find it hard on a hol. And like you say it depends on finances also. May not want to come back from the hol!!!
