I'm new to this site and have done a couple of postings but never a welcome one, oops sorry

I want to know how you get the avatar pictures against your name and if you can edit or change part of your user name and if so what happens to all your previous posts do they become linked to your new name.
I've been in Oz 19 years mainly country Victoria and if anyone has questions I will gladly try to help.

Hi Taffy, welcome to PIO.
A wise lady from Brisbane said to my oh (yesterday I think it was) " Everbody dies but not everybody lives" very profound Taffy, I've seen you have put it out in the open now, it might encourage some of the waiverers.

You holding out from doing the house work again?

lol. Yep I'm getting a bit addicted to this site! Good job I only work part time Don't know how I'm going to wrangle it when my life starts to get busy

Hi Taffy and welcome!
To place an avatar next to your name, go to the top left menu labelled ‘User CP’ – it will offer you a drop down menu. Select ‘Edit Avatar’. You can then select a photo from a selection on your own computer or select a website with free avatars. I would always recommend that you look at these free animation sites first, then select an image and save it into a suitable folder on your computer. You can change your avatar whenever you wish. Good Luck!
