Hiya,

We are going on the 30th of July, which feels so close now!! We have two children 2.5 and 9 months. I am feeling excited today!! It would be nice to meet up with people when we get there.

God luck with all your preparations

Hi ya

We're already here !!!!

Been in Sydney since middle of May so if I can be of any help to anyone feel free to PM me and I'll see if I can help.

We have 2 kids - a girl of 2 and a son of 5 and would definitely welcome the opportunity to meet up with like minded people for a drink and a play in the park !

Best of luck with all your applications and I look forward to welcoming you shortly.

Hey Sunsh1ne
How are you finding things in Sydney for yourselves and your children? Plenty to do? Any regrets so far? We will head for Avoca Beach on the central coast when we finally land - house sale is the only thing holding us back! Nice to know that you are there for a friendly chat when we do arrive!
Take Care
Gaynor

Hi Gaynor,
Just joined this site and see that you're heading to Central Coast in Sept. We are too!!!
Great to know some one else is going there blind!
Avoca is on our list of must sees (so is Wamberal and Forresters Beach, don't ask me why just looks nice).
We have 3 girls, twins aged 5 and a 20 month old. Will be there around the 20th sept so would love to keep in touch and hopefully meet up when we get there.

Thanks
Dani

Hi Dani
So nice to hear from you - we are not sure when we will land in Avoca, as we need to sell up before we go, but I am hopeful that it should be this side of Christmas! Would be great to keep in touch and meet up - my girls are 5 & 4 - a bit like having twins! Great to know that there is someone moving out at a similar time to us. Where abouts in Ireland are you - my family live in Roscommon - are they close to you? Feel free to pm me.
Take Care
Gaynor

Hi Gaynor,
We,re living in Co.Clare (Lisdoonvarna),thats where my hubby is from, your family will probably know it from the matchmaking fests. been living here past 7 years but can't put up with the weather any longer!
We've had our house up for sale since March and had no joy but have got a family to rent it for the next two years because the market has gone so bad over here. Its a big weight off our minds and hopefully the housing market will have picked up by then.
Hoping to get the kids into school in the 4th Term (October) so will let you know what it is like.
Have you had any interest in your house or is it slow over there too?

Dani
