midwife on the move

Hi

We currently live in manchester in the UK, me Lisa, my partner John and our two daughters aged 12 and 7.

I qualified as a midwife last year and am hoping to move out to oz next year. we are considering relocating to Perth. Are there any midwives out there, who have done what we plan to do, and could give me any info on midwifery practice, salaries, housing, schools etc.

Hiya welcome to poms in oz ,we escaped Manchester nearly 2 yrs ago ,where abouts are you ? with the amount of us Northerners on here at the mo there will be noone left,lol.

and how are ur children doing at school?
John is a joiner /shopfitter and he is hoping to get some work out there. we arew looking at Perth at the moment and just looking at the property prices.
