Hi newbie here seeking lots of advice + help

Hi we're hoping to move to Oz but have just started researching Visa's etc and it is all quite overwhelming so looking for advice from some of you experts on what would be our best route the clock is ticking as my husband is 45 next year and if I understand correctly over 45 and you won't get in? I'll explain our circumstances and maybe some of you can guide us. Husband works in IT and has done for 10 years could probably transfer within his own company but that would mean waiting for right post to turn up in area we like. I work in childcare and will be completing my Montessori Diploma in October of this year. We're planning to head out in July/August to have a look around I have two Aunts in Australia one in Perth whom we have met several times and she is why we are thinking Perth is where we will probably settle as I'm fond of her and we don't really want to be in big big city like Sydney. Is it best to use an agent for visas? I have read of some people just contacting companies directly and being offered jobs and if this happens do they organise your visa and is age then not such an issue?? or is 45+still an problem Sorry for all the questions but any help will be greatly appreciated?

Hi Spalding,
If I was in your shoes I would be contacting an agent to deal with it, if ayou can afford to do this, they can tell you firstly if you will qualify, and then take you through the process, it is worth the money, but use a good company, ie Ian Harrop is one I used and also many members on this PIO, Good luck. Karen
