Our progress so far!

Hi there everyone,
My wife(Ruth)and I(Bob)are awaiting our visa which was lodged at the Brisbane office in January so shouldn,t be long now.We have 2 children Cameron 4 and Nicole 3 we are moving to the Gold coast I have got a job with the Queensland Ambulance Service(employer sponsored visa).

We hope to be in Oz the beginning of August to sort out rental property,schools and all the other admin type things that come with moving to a new country(very nerve racking)

Don,t know where I will be working on the Gold coast yet but it all looks great anyway.

Ruth and I met in Oz 1997 we were both on working visas,loved the country.We now have the chance to move to Oz with our children which is great.

Will keep you all updated on our progress.Bye for now.

Hi there,
Thanks for your help.Where abouts on the Gold coast are you working?Whats Robina like?

I have been waiting for my visa since mid January hope it comes soon.......everything on hold at the moment.

No I don,t have a buddy yet I am hoping I will be assigned someone when the visa confirmation comes through(fingers crossed).

How are things working for the QAS?I am a bit apprehensive and excited at the same time.

How is the rental market as we will have to rent a house.We will probably stay in a hotel for a wee while until we sort out a rental property.

Hi Cal thanks for your support,the Gold coast looks like a fantastic place to live and work we can,t wait to touch down.
