I'm new to this site and would appreciate any feedback on those that are currently undergoing visa application/visa process. Me and my fiance are hoping to apply next year, as we're getting married this year, but are a bit confussed about all the different visa types. We can get in via the Indepedent Skilled Visa, and we could get into Oz with company sponsorship, but does anyone know of any pros and cons of each different type. I know with the Indpendent you can work anywhere, but this takes longer. Any advice, chit chat on this... i'm all ears! Thanks

you have kind of answered your own question already in as much as skilled independent you live and work where ever you choose.
sponsorship attaches you to 1 employer ( i think for 2 years )
