Hi, am new to this forum

I've heard this morning that I've had my skills assessment passed by ANMC in Adelaide! Application was submitted in Dec 07. Next stage is main DIAC and have been told it takes about 9 months, but there are loads of applicants to get through. My house has been up for sale since January but no interest so far. I've got family in Campbeltown, Sydney so that's where I'm hoping to go.My kids are 15 and 17, so we're not able to go until July 09 anyway, after GCSEs are finished.I've got lots of questions about everything, from kids' college in Oz, to a job for me, to driving license over there...! I'm very nervous about the move, but all 3 of us are very excited too. Can't believe we're really doing it!

Hi and good luck with your application.
I don't know about you, but I find all of the stages of the visa application reassuring. I imagine so many people get put off or give up, so those that go through with the whole process are people that really do want a new life and to start again. Plus the Ozzie government are doing their best not to let too many scroungers and layabouts in.
Anyway, good luck again.

Nearly done 12 mths as a hairdresser and hoping to start my application as soon as poss!!!Just wondering if anyone has used Visa-go migration agent????

Hi Merryl and Welcome to PIO, seems the hardest part is done(TRA) its just a case of sit back and waiting with the rest of us. Lets hope its not too long as it drives you Mad!!!!!!!!!!
