Hi, Merryl, We live approx 35 kms south of Campbelltown,we retired here to Oz 4years ago.We often visit Campbelltown,cheapest cinema anywhere only 6 Bucks each and Bunnings is there of course and cheap shopping with two good Malls now.Hope the dollar to pound rate gets better for you even the 2.45 to the pound we got looks good by todays rate.We got good information from this forum before we came here when it was Expats.co.uk. regards Colin

We live about 15 mins from Campbelltown and I also have 2 teenagers (and a 12 yr old) they are 16 and 18.

Hi,how are your children coping with the move mine are 13 and 17 she wants to go (the 13yr old),but my son doesnt cos of his precious football team!!!!!he said he would come on the visa and go for a holiday but at least he will have the 5 yrs to decide??hopefully! Were you scared at first?I am petrified of the unknown i know its different being on holiday and living there??Tell me your thoughts please??

Hi all,
Still no interest in my house, but I've got plenty of time before I need to panick. My kids are even more excited than me about the move.My son seems to think all the Aussie girls will look like the goddesses we see on the soaps! Neither of them seem so upset about leaving family over here, but I'm sad about leaving my dad...who thinks we should definately go! It's actually Leumeah that my family live in, and I'm hoping to get a post at Campbelltown Hospital but it's too soon to do anything about that yet I think.
