hi, we are a married couple Lee 36 yo and Maria 33yo with two children (Matt 2 1/2 yo and Summer 8 mos old) moving to Victoria hopefully on September this year. Very xcited but scared f we r doin d right thing We have a good life here in UK, good family, good friends, good jobs..but not always happy with the weather. My wife's a Nurse (that's how we got the chance in Oz) and now she's just waiting for a TRN number...........We dont wanna feel alone in Oz, so we thought this is the best place to start gaining good friends

Hi were going to Brisbane in june so nowhere near you but there are loads of people on here that will be close, and there are meet ups etc, you are not alone.

Hi Lee and Maria, we're going to Victoria, hopefully later this year, should get visa's around september time. Where abouts are you going? Victoria is a big place. Does it really normally takes around 10 mos to process application from TRA to grant Visa's. The info you posted gave us an idea, as we thought it will only takes 4 months to process visa's?

hi Guys!
thanks for your reply. We needed that. Its a boost of confidence and reassurance.Ye, it really seemed that we found the right place for the right people.We surely will get in touch to a lot of you! We are heading to Wantirna. The Nurse Director who interviewed me said that its 25 km away from CBD (30 mins distance on direct line?). Apart from the new built houses that we searched on, we dont have any ideas what the place looks like. Any ideas, anyone?
