PERTH or ADELAIDE?

We are a young family looking for a better/slower life.
I am a nurse, my husband is a electronics enigneer & children are 4yrs & 2yrs.
Ideally we want a nice house, not a bad morgage, good quality of life but not having to work 50-60hrs a week.
We love the sound of Perth but I have a pull towards Adelaide. Don't know why, just like the look and sound of it.
ANY ADVICE IS WELCOME
Thanks
THE DENHAMS

I haven't been to Adelaide so can't comment, Live in Perth and Love it here, very laid back. Working full time which is an 80 hour fortnight - but quality of family life is much improved. As a nurse you won't have any problems getting a job

hi there

after all the research we did and what most people have told us perth is for us our

children are 13,11,8 and like you want a slower way and more family time

good luck with whatever you do if you dont like it can always move to the other

at least you will be in oz

julie

Thanks guys for your replys.
We have done alot of reaserch into 'Perth' and love it too. But am aware that the property prices have had a boom. Don't want to get there and end up having a bigger morgage then what we have here. Looking for a 4 beded house, with pool, or space for a pool, for up to £250,000. Understand that property prices are lower in Adelaide. Salaries in both areas are slightly less then what I earn here, so need to choose carefully.
