turned down by the TRA!

Hi everyone.

It has been a while since my last thread. We just foound out we were turned down by the TRA. He has only on the job training and obviously we cannot use pathway d right now. We are a little upset, but I guess we will try again when pathway d is reinstated. Hopefully it will be. Thanks for all your advice.

You must obviously be very disappointed but don't give up, you will get there some how some way if you really want to.

Oh no! I am so sorry. My OH is really worried about this happening to us. We have decided that if that happens we will try for a 457 visa and then go for PR once we are there. Would that be an option for you guys?

I am not sure what a 457 visa is for. also what does PR mean?

457 is sponsored by a job in oz, its temporary so you need to apply again once there for permanent residence (i.e PR).

Have a look here Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457) you would
be better of going for permanent straight away if you can an ENS or RSMS look here.

the only way to get a 457 visa is to get a aussie company to give you a job and pay for your visa sponsor you for 4 years and after 2 they can sponsor you for perm resi, so if you aint good then its back home you go.We are trying to do this but 12 months after contacting my comp[any in oz we have got a little bit closer just waiting for the job offer now after having a SKYPE interview......waiting.........

so have a go. contact oz companies by email with your cv and keep on at em, they take ages to reply though.

My husband is a pipefitter here in the U.S. He does plumbing also.
