July Applications???

Just seeking a bit of reassurance from other Julers waiting to hear news of there visa. DIAC seem to be processing and granting alot of August apps...just hoping they havnt missed out us.

Any help, advice or similar experiences welcome. These are our details, just joined so will sort out profile soon.

Visa App received on 9th July 2007.
*Received Acknowledgement letter from DIAC on 18 Oct 2007
*CO requested for Medical and PC on 09/11/2007 (31/10/2007???)
*Our medicals recpiepts and police clearances sent to CO on 28/12/2007
*Medical exams sent on 27/12/2007 tO Local Clearance Unit
*Medical exam results received by LCU on 31/12/2007
*CO requested form 80's on 25 Jan 2008, form sent on 28 January 2008
* March 7th - Put house up for sale.

There never seems to be any working it out as far as when its your turn with the visa allocations, some people seem to get them quicker than others. Our application was in by 28th June 07 and have not long had our meds finalised so we are thinking we should hear something sometime this month but who can tell. Just keep checking the e-mails or wait for the phone to ring and one day soon the golden ticket will be ours. Hope you hear something really soon it will be great to be put out of our misery wouldn't it!!!!

I dont think there is any order. It depends on your CO. Some are quick some are slow.Thats what our agent has told us any way...

Well done to you guys who have been granted your visa, best wishes to you and your families.

Thanks alot for your words of support, I'm sure that it won't be long now before we are granted our visas, but still naturally concerned at the time its taking. Our agent sent an enquiry form on our behalf to DIAC last week - it looks as if it is people/agencies here in the UK who are holding things up by not providing the info DIAC need quicker GRRRRR yes we are peeved off at learning this because i thought that DIAC had so much backlog of applications that it was them needing to just catch up, well anyway here is the email:
