Hi - Questions

Hi all, just thought i would pop on and introduce ourselves as we have been reading the message boards but not signed up till now. We are Rob(32) Sarah(33) Ashley(13) Ben(16months) and bump(!!!). We are looking into moving to Oz, and have been very much helped on here by the titbits of info you guys are giving TYVM for that. I am a telecoms engineer with 12 years experience with C&G quals and Sarah is currently a nursery nurse but completes her degree this summer (early years child care).
We have a few questions to start us off, but im sure that will increase.

Agents - should we use one? if yes who is best recommended? a collegue referred us to emigration group any good?
is it worth moving sooner rather than later, with GCSE's approaching should we delay?

I attended the IMMIexpo the other week, educational for me rather than touting, but was intrigued by Northern Territories as they require a number of skills groups my job falls into, is there anyone up that way(Darwin) that can fill us in a bit more about the area. property prices seem quite high or am i looking in the wrong places.

Thanks for now

Rob

we did our own visa app online and did not use the v. expensive agents.
basically if you can read all the complicated instructions and are good at scanning relevant documents in then you should be ok.this site seems to be quite good at giving you advice too!!

Hi there and welcome to PIO!
Regarding your questions re agents - would absolutely recommend ours if you are still interested in using an agent, couldn't have got through skills assessment without her and rates v v reasonable too. Send me a pm if you want full contact details.

The agents that seem to continually get good feedback on here are Go Matild,Visa Bureau and Ian Harrop. We did use an agent although many people have gone it alone,it boils down to personal prefernce, good luck
