We are Craig and Nicky, we're thinking of moving to Oz with our 3 children
(15, 13 and 10) and four dogs!! No idea where yet, possibly Perth area.
Don't really know where to start or what to say, no visa application as yet, we've toyed with the idea of emigrating before but nothing came of it, this time we've made our minds up this is what we want. (Scottish winters do strange things to folk!)
Anyone offering advice, info or just to say hi would be appreciated.

Hi to you all!! from new members 'Yickers' (Ann,Stve & Luke) I hope we are both welcomed to the site.
We have just received our 'Roadmap to imigration to Australia' using a company called "********* ****" based in ******. we have tried for so long to get into Australia on points without success, so we are trying the Student Visa route. Basically you train for 2 yrs towards one of Australia's skilled shortage occupations then apply for residency, but have to fund yourselves for the duration of the course (course fees, school fees - everything basically) so we have to sell everything here to fund us, but willing to take the risk!! Hope this helps in some way. Good luck. x

Hi everyone, I'm new to all of this - so bear with me!
Hubby has finally agreed (after much nagging) that I can research moving to Oz - what visa etc etc. Probably going to be sponsored one way or another - any info greatly apprectiated. We have 2 kids, under 7 and a dog. We are holidaying in December as OH's brother is in Sydney (still temp visa) so will hopefully get the go ahead early next year. I have plenty of time to prepare anyhow!! Best of luck to those who have started!
