Brookwater/Springfield (SW of Brisbane)

Hey there! We have been living in Oz since May 05 and now have our citizenship, however we have just moved over to Brisbane (well 6 months ago now - man time flies!), so thought we'd check this out...
Anyone in the springfield (& lakes)/brookwater area give us a shout..... or anywhere in fact!

And of course if you are looking for somewhere to settle you could do a lot worse than here - it is beautiful. We love it here - bit of a hike to the coast (45mins) but love it all the same. Very central to everything.

Wherever you choose, you'll be happy with living here in Brissie!

Yeah, we love it here. We went with Brookwater as it has a more rural feel while being close to Orion and having all the advantages of suburbia. Jimboomba - you must be on acreage?

We have just bought a house in Springfield. We are still in temporary accommodation in Ipswich at the moment, and I can't wait to get out of here. We got here on 10th July, and I literally don't know a soul. Bit lonely when you've just moved here - but we move to our house on 28th Aug, it won't be a moment too soon.
