Hi Melody, i am a radiographer with the NHS and we are going to the Leeds expo. Don't know if it is going to be of any help because some people found them useful and others didn't. Thanks for that! I have done a points assessment on line and with an agency. I got 135 points, so this should be more than enough to get the three of us in!! Our house is on the market ( put it up in Jan ). What Visa is the 'skilled application'???? Is it a 175??? As you may have noticed, I am new to all this jargon!!!!!!!

Do you have a job lined up already? How did you go about this?

My hubby has just told me that I have his job title wrong! He is a voice and data cabling engineer! I can't see it makes any difference!!!!

There seems to be alot of people heading to NSW......We are drawn to Perth 1) We have family there.... and 2) we have been there three times (only got back 3 weeks ago!) so have a good feel for the area...( Kind of!).

Hi Melody,

I used an agent to help with my application it cost a bit but it was worth it as me and hubbie arent great with forms also takes some pressure off. Just got all my doc's out the skilled assessment form we completed was form 47SK. We put our house on the market end of July and have just sold it. It is so difficult waiting for things to happen but it will be all worth it in the end.

I got a Job in Queensland but the thought of moving there never really sat right with me I have an agency looking for work for me now (the same agency that found the Queensland job) this is free and if you like I can send you the details the girl I have been working with she is lovely and she will find you a job. Dont know if you will be doing your application yourself or if you will be looking for an agent, if so let me know and I will send his details on to. He was great and seemed to be one of the cheapest at the time.
