sparking in melbourne

Is there much call for a spark in melbourne also wife is a cook/chef is there much work in that department.
can anyone advise on a good location in the melbourne area taking into account primary schools and high schools I have heard somwhere about fees for schools can anyone tell me more

Hi Mark, Welcome to pio. I think you will not have a problem finding work as a spark in Melbourne as my brother in law moved there 3 years ago and found work very easy as a sparky. As far as i know there is still a big demand for sparks and chippies (like myself) out there. We are moving to mornington area south melbourne in sept if all goes to plan. We will be staying with in laws until we find somewhere to rent out there. we also have kids and need them to find schools but i here that the schools in mornington and around that area are not too bad. ASAP but I haven't even done the vetassess yet have you? or did you go the tra route before september2007 when do you plan on been out there? and finally if you go on the skilled visa is it just the visa applicant that does the english test or does the spouse have to do it as well
