Hi there everyone, just new to the site so please forgive my distinct lack of knowledge!!!
I was born in Mornington 33yrs ago and my family and I (OH and 2 girls, 3yrs and 8yrs) are looking to return to my roots, hopefully by January 2010. My Mum will be returning with us so she knows a little more than us although, as I say, it was many moons ago!!!
We want to return to Mornington, or maybe Mout Martha, Mount Eliza. However, looking at the Australian real estate web sites Somerville and Baxter seem to be cheap for this peninsular. Can anyone advise me on these two areas? Are they cheap because they're a bit dodgy (sorry if any of you do actually live there!) or are they tiny places with nothing to do for a family?
Any advice would be very welcome! Oh, by the way it's snowing hard here for the second day in a row!!! Roll on emmigration!!!
