just wanted to say hi to everybody whos in the same boat as us.we have appointed an agency to help us with our application,as my husband is self employed carpenter its proving to be very hard work.we think we will be ready to send application off in the next 2 weeks.ive been told it could take as long as 18 months to complete,like everyone else i want to go yesturday.its been lovely reading everyones blogs and it gives me hope...

Welcome to poms in oz ,the visa process does seem to take forever and day but use it as quality time to de clutter and sort your paperwork out as when the man says YES theres a hundred and one things you have to do ,,good luck

Congrats on making ths first step! Thats the big hurdle - deciding to go. All the rest are little hoops that Mr Visa makes you jump through. However all worth it! Trust us!

thanks for repleying to my message.i see your visa was granted xmas eve wow lovely present.
we are in very early stages,its so hard as rob is self employed need so many more refences.
still will sick with it as im determind to go.i have 2 boys 4 and 2 and know how much they will benefit.
