we are mark, tracey and our 2 girls grace & molly
we are currently applying to migrate to oz and this is our timeline;
started proceedure in feb 2007.
applied to TRA june 07,
passed tra around mid july 07
sent application on 30th july 07
received ack on 5th dec 07
aquired case office; early feb 08
meds sent early march 08
now just the final wait
was slow to start with but boy its gone quite fast in the last few months, now a race to get house ready to go on the market!
applying on class bn sub class 136 skilled independent visa
we are using an agent.
looking to settle ( to start with) in gosford, central coast, nsw.

Welcome to PIO. We are also headed out to Central Coast NSW but you are way ahead of us in the process so look forward to hearing your thoughts when you get there.
It's a shame you didn't join the site last week, you could have joined us at our meet up in Essex yesterday, but hopefully you can make the next one.

Welcome to PIO. We are very local to you, Stanford-le-Hope. We got our visa today and are looking to move to WA later this year or as soon as the house is sold. You will quickly become adicted to this website, there is so much help, information to learn and lovely people.
We live near you in Colchester but at the moment we are not there as we are in Gosford! My wife is a student nurse and is doing a 3 week work experience in wyong hospital and then we are travelling for 3 weeks. We are staying at a rented house in Teriggal which is down the road from Gosford. Gosford looks nice infact all the Central coast looks nice. I have a brother in Tumbi umbi. We are fairly sure we want to move to Oz although we are not sure that this is for us. I will be posting on the site when I get back for advice!

thanks for the warm welcome and all the replies,
we will be looking to stay in ettalong beach, umina area to start with.
stayed there for 3 weeks back in aug 06.
drove up to surfers paradise whilst there and that sealed our intension to migrate.
hoping to move out there by end of aug so my youngest does not have to start secondary school here in uk, but it will not be the end of the world if she has to.
started to put the loft contents on ebay lol :)
