Hey all,

When I joined this site I had no idea Poms meant an englishman or someone from the U.K. I found out from my hubby who explained it...lol. You all have helped me emmensly already, but I feel quite dumb!! Wondered why there was no one else on here from the U.S

The word POM is not really meant for us!! It means Prisoner of Mother England, any Australian that calls you that is politically incorrect! I had an argument over this with a Russian guy who claimed he was a perfect Aussie!!
