My first post.
As you might have gathered this is my first post so I thought I'd better use it to say Hi and introduce ourselves.

There's me, a designer/illustrator. My wife a Holistic/Massage Therapist and our two boys (3 and 5).
I come from a printing background and hopefully with the help of our agent I'm trying to pass the TRA under Graphics/Pre-press.

We traveled Australia a few years ago (pre kids) in an old VW camper and we had in mind the East Coast to settle but since my wife's sister has moved to Perth it looks more like WA for us.
We're originally from Sheffield but we now live in North Derbyshire.

I've only found this site recently but by looking at some of the posts I seem to recognise some names from BE.

Looking forward to many more posts

Thanks for the welcome

If we ever get the dreaded TRA passed then I guess we're going skilled/sponsored. As in my skills but sponsored by my wife's sister.
We've been dragging our heals with our application for ages now and since the removal of pathway D, we thought getting an agent on board would help.

The fact that we're now paying out good money for an agent sure made us pull our fingers out.

I noticed you guys are from Donny and Swadlingcote. Not a million miles from me in Dronfield.

I'm already noticing what a nice crowd there is here.

It was pretty exciting.
That's if driving around for 1000's of miles at 50 mph floats your boat. It is mine:)
Would love to do it again.
