Hi all, great site really informative and to read so many peoples experiences really makes you feel that you are not on your own!
Like many others i applied last year and had my TRA returned with the fee's after 4 months hard work and 4k in fee's with a nightmare agent who is now history. I missed the breaking point by 3 days i was told, ! otherwise we would be well on our way now.. Managed to get 800 quid back from the agent after threatening a MIRA complaint as they really where useless. Instructed new agents for a fixed price £1800 who are amazing! Got the vetassess next month in london and looking forward more than ever to get to Oz. Been there twice over the last two years a month each time and had a fantastic time. Got a brother in Sidney, wife has a sister in Briz and i have a sister in Perth. We are looking to live on the sunshine coast, Caloundra either Kawana forrest or Pelian waters area. Im a full time firefighter (which they dont want) and also a qualified electrician. This is the trade that will get me there.. 3 kids aged 19 18 and 12... 19 yr old doesnt want to come which is fine because we know she will follow soon after... We are only 39 and 37 (Started young) and cant think of anything better than living life to the full in OZ! Come on!Thats me in a nutshell.. from bolton by the way in manchester... Great to read your stories to.. Apologies if mine is a little blunt... Any poms in Caloundra?

We are heading to Caloundra as well, Ian goes over on 24th April. We fel in love with the area when visiting last year, Sunny coast is definately the place for us!

Hiya im from little lever and i take it your around Bradley Fold or Stopes Rd???All my family live around there although me and my brother went to Blackshaw primary in Breightmet and then onto little lever high for the best years of our life!!!lol small world!
