Exclamation wanted down under Perth/Brisbane?

Hi everyone..

I have read through loads of peoples thoughts and experiences, I guess my family and I have all this to come..
We recently returned from Australia as we were one of the families that took part on wanted down under..
We plan another trip in the new year Feb 09 to see friends in perth.
We have lots to do and we are confussed about the implication of just packing up and going out to perth next year for one year and rent our house out here in the UK?

Any ideas - help - support will be gladly recieved.

Kathyw.

It's very daunting isn't it? For me I just keep thinking of the lifestyle change (for the better I think) and mostly about what the children will gain from it.

It's too frightening if I focus on family/friends etc we have here.

Hi Kathy

I've only just seen this thread.

Are you sure you only want to go to Oz for only one year? Because if so, all you need is somebody to offer either you or Hubby a job and sponsor you for a subclass 157 visa.

Or is it the case that you want to go for a year but keep your options open about staying on in Oz after that?

Best wishes

Gill
