Hi from Claire in Andover, Hampshire
Hi everyone,

I'm so glad I've found this website - it has made me feel less nervous about moving to Oz.

I'm hopefully going to be moving to Oz on a four year business visa (I've got a few more interviews to complete - but it's looking good for September) and I'm looking at the Brisbane area as I have an Uncle and Aunt in Nerang.

I will be coming over on my own, as I'm not married and don't have any children yet - so it's also nice to see that you all meet up now and again (I hope singleys are welcome )

just wanted to say good luck with the move,and dont worry there are tons of singletons on here,you are not alone.hope everything works out for you.youll make lots of friends on here.dont worry we are all nuts lol.there is always someone on here that you can ask for any advice or info,or even if you just want to chat.

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling better about the move by the minute.

We are also heading out to Brisbane on a 4 year business visa, heading off about April/May.

Thanks Debs.

I'm actually having a third interview at 9.30pm this evening so fingers crossed - I'll let you know how it goes.

Can I ask - from your job offer, how long did it take the company to sort the Visa's out as I'm looking to move over in September, but I don't know if I'm expecting things to move too quickly ?

Unfortunately our visa means that we have to start a business...no pressure there then?? (gulp??)
