Result Certificates

Hi everyone - I am trying to obtain copies of my husbands qualification certificates - he took the exams an absolute age ago. The college have no copies and say that a database wasnt in place back then (1991 - surely not that long ago!!). I have contacted the examining body themselves but not heard anything yet. Has anyone been in this situation before - what happens if I cant get hold of the Certificates??

my hubby lost his certificates.years ago,so we contacted the city and guilds lot,gave the name,and other details that we could remember,and after much parping around,and of course paying a fee,we eventually got them.dont worry too much lots of people are in the same boat as you.hope this helps,if you dont hear anything,keep phoning them and hounding them,they will definiely have records of your certificates.hope this will help you and good luck.there is always someone on the forum that can help you.

thanks - I will hound them! We keep panicking and thinking something silly like this will stop us getting there, but I will chase them down!

You might be best putting this question in migration issues yorkshirepud as it might not have been seen here in welcome - there's bound to be other people who have been in the same situation as you. Can't help myself but I bet others can.
