Where to stay in Syney for two weeks with 2 and 4 year olds.

Hi there,

I am travelling from Jersey to Sydney in May and am wondering where you recommend we stay that is child friendly for 1 or 2 weeks , until we move up to cairns. Preferably somewhere where we can see the sights. and does anyone have any recommendations for places to live in Sydney? any help is much appreciated!

Maybe somewhere on or near Darling Harbour..........easy access to transport, the acquarium,nice restaurants and a good playground as well.

Or stay at the beach.........although will be winter.......Coogee is a nice beach.

Thanks for that chloe. we are not too sure where we are going to live yet. we have vaguely decided to check sydney out for 2 weeks, fly to cairns and then travel slowly back down towards sydney until we find a place we like and my boyfriend or myself can get a good job. lots of people recommend Melbourne. that's one place we haven't checked out yet.
