moving to brisbane

Hi all, this is new to me:)my name is Louise and hopeing to move to brisbane in october this year. Just started the process in jan 08 its soooooo scary

its everything that you need to think about its blowing my mind. Moving with 2 wee ones and my hubby. Im a nurse and going through vital international. Any advice on moving would be great.

Hiya ,we moved to Brissy just over a year ago and although its stressful ,its well worth it once your here!!Even the flight with the kids wasnt as bad as expected,we used Singapore air stopping in Singapore for just a few hours.Hope everything goes to plan for you and dont forget to put some dvd's etc in your case for the kids rather than sending them all with the shippers,,

Hi Louise,

Welcome to Poms! We are heading just up the coast from Brisbane, hopefully Caloundra. It's exciting and daunting at the same time. My advice would be to have plenty of patience as things never seem to move as quickly as you would like, except of course towards the end when it all seems to go too fast!:)
