Hi, we obtained our visas on the 1st February 2008 after 18 months of filling in paperwork and undergoing full medicals which we are so relieved and HAPPY about. We are planning to move to Halls Head, Mandurah WA. We went to Oz for a "reckie" last May 2007 and fell in love with the place straightaway.

We are planning to leave UK in November 2008. We are in the process of selling our house in Canewdon, Essex and to date have received no bites of the cherry!!!!!!

So many questions, dont know where to start!!!!

Ho is a fabricator/welder and I am a legal secretary. We know there are loads of jobs for ho but is there for me?

Ho has been looking at cooling vests for sale. Could you tell me if anybody uses these in HOT trades? If so which types and how long does cooling last for?

Hope to go to meet up at Halfway House on 9 March 2008.

Welcome to PIO! Congratualations on your visas.
We visited Mandurah in Dec 07 and thought it was fab! Hopefully around that sort of area ourselves in November 08!
A good agency in the city (now a direct train link) is Red Source Personnel - boss is an expat too.
