excited already!!

Hi everyone, OH and I have decided on Go Matilda as the agency we are going to use - got all the stuff through today and we are about to write our first cheque!! I am so excited which is crazy because this is only the first bit!! Going to be an absolute nightmare to live with from now on. Still haven't told my parents yet that we are taking their three grandchildren to the other side of the world - waiting until we have our visa applications well underway first (chicken). Does anyone know about house prices in Perth area? What can you get for your money??

Hi

Depending on which area you choose in Perth house prices are not too bad. I was there at Xmas on hol and went looking at new houses and was suprised at how much you got for your money. I am now looking into going back to live there. My brother moved out there last July and is loving it. They are only renting at the moment but even rentals are cheap. I think Perth is one of the cheapest areas of Oz to live in.

you've picked a good agent, but I would say that because we are also using them..........

Sorry can't help with Perth.

Good luck with your application.

Biscuit is on a distinguished road
Hello,

Hubbie and I returned from Perth on Saturday (we had been to validate or visas) we spent a lot of time looking at houses and areas. It is so hard to give a rough guide on prices as areas vary so much, places close to the ciy are quite expensive, however the further you go the more you get for your money (same as anywhere). You still get a lot more for your money than you do here but due to the current exchange rate and their housing market it is not how it was a few years back. Perth was always one of the cheapest places to live in Oz but that is now not the case due to the boom they have had over the past four years.

Have a look on .Real Estate, Property, Land and Homes for Sale, lease and rent - realestate.com.au this will give you soon guideline prices.

The price rises haven't put us off at all though and we are hoping to be moving later in the year!!

Best of luck with everything
Sam x
