Hi Jodie

I'm new today too but I noticed there's a forum called younger ones. You may be able to chat to others going through the same thing and even make some friends before you go. I don't know much about the Australian education system but I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who do.

Sorry I wasn't much help but good luck with everything.

Vicky

hiya jodie, what grade are you in? here it goes to grade 12, which means you are about 17 or 18 when you leave. did you want to know any specific things about school? aussie state schools are'nt as formal as english ones. my daughters friend has just started 2nd year university doing psychology. my daughter is a group leader in kindergarten, the equivalent in england would be a teacher at nursery school.

Hi Jodie,

If you go onto Department of Education, Training and the Arts this is the Queensland government website for Education, where you can see what schools, colleges etc offer. It gives loads of info and lists the websites for each school and college, it should be really helpful.
