As far as I know.

TRA means Trades Recognition Austrialia, its an organisation that determines what your qualifications are in Australia, and whether they are recognised.

If you are planning on going on a Skilled Migrants Visa subclass 175 and have a specific trade you have to prove that you have the relevant qualifications and experience.

My hubbie is a coach builder and has to complete a TRA form and supply copies of his Scotvec Modules and HNC certificates and have them signed by a lawyer who certifies they are real.

Then the TRA follow up with your employer etc so determine whether you are suitably qualified in a occupation which is in need in OZ.

Bit long winded but hopes this answers the TRA question. Don't know if this applies to everybody or any other visa's.
