Chefs

Hi - gosh i have so many questions! I keep logging off then thinking of other things I could ask you all!

Does anyone know about chefs in Oz? My OH is a chef and owns own catering company - he qualified years ago and has been told by someone at work that he would have to retrain to be able to go as his qualifications wont be the same as needed in Oz - does anyone know if that is correct??

What a load of rubbish if he has city & quilds he will be fine, he will ned to do the obliglatory a day in the life of a chef breakdown but if you want any help PM me. My OH is a head chef and i did the work for his TRA.

Thanks for that - its just something else to worry about - lots of people with incorrect advice! Anyway, i have now completed OH employment history etc and hopefully agent will now complete TRA stuff. Is your OH planning to carry on working in Oz as a chef? Do you know what the work situation is like for Chefs?
