need advice possibly moving to Ipswich

Hi, I am new to this forum.I am thinking of emigrating to Australia possibly Ipswich later this year.Does anyone live there have any advice about what the area is like, cost of housing etc.I have lived in Australia before but in Sydney.

as with most places has its good and bad areas...a lo tof peopel 'bag' ipswich as a whole....Ipswich Motorway is fun for the morning commute......

Ipswich used to carry a pretty bad reputation but is now a good up and coming area.Last month it was award best small city to raise a family ,so they are doing something right!lol,my best friend lives at Flinders View which is a small suburb of ipswich and a lovely area.The centre has a big new shopping ctr on the river and Queens park is one of the best parks ive seen since we got here,the schools dont rate too bad either,,good luck with the move
