Talking Where to live in Perth

Oh my god...its me again,

Can someone help me , we are hoping to get out to Perth on a 457 visa, we are gonna have to live and work regional, we have 2 boys age 10 and 13 so my main concern is them for schools etc, we have been told to look at Bunbury, lovely area, nice schools etc, we want to try and be near to friends if poss and they live in Orelia, about 20mins south of Perth.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated

Sara x

I think Mandurah is classed as regional as well - I know your job offer may be regional but I'm sure you can live anywhere you want to (of course you may not want to commute)

Hi there

We are new members too and hoping to go to Perth on a Spouse visa (I have citizenship). We visited Mandurah while we were over there and it was fab! There is a new direct train link direct into Perth centre although it would probably be 45 minute drive if you need to go the city. Cant say about schools etc as we have no children of that age. Our friends are in Rockingham and that's not a bad area either if you are looking South of the river.

Good Luck
Ness & Paul
