yet more newbies....
Hi everyone,

Just joined up today, got loads of question's to ask and get advice. Been looking at this site for ages been too scared to join before, but you all seem so friendly and nice.
We are the Bishop family from Dudley, West Mids there are 4 of us, myself, oh, and two boys 9 and 3. We are in the early stages of the emergrating procedure, been thinking about doing it for along time so finally decided to go for it.
We are looking at Brisbane and surrounding areas. I work at my local hospitial as a hsdu technician and oh is a cnc engineer.

Hiya, wecome to PIO. We looked at Brisbane and the surrounding areas, and ended up on the Gold Coast. There are big hospitals in Southport, one in Robina, and other major towns, and plenty of work usually for anyone with a trade. Lovely down here too! Good luck with your application

P.S Is that Eurodisney? One of my regrets is that I didn't take my kids (4,3 and 1) there before we emigrated- my four year old son loves Mickey Mouse, will have to show him your picture.

Thanks. There seems to be alot of really nice places over there, but got be realistic and go where work is. Yes it is eurodisney we went end of last year had a great time kids loved it youngest keeps asking when we goin again he loves mickey. how long have been there?

Been here since September last year. Have you checked out careerone.com that seems to be best for this area? When you arrive, Gold Coast Bulletin on a Wed and Sat are the job pages.
Your kids will love it here; Dreamworld is favourite at the minute with mine, as they have Wiggles World, but still plenty for your older one. My little ones keep wanting to go there all the time too!
