WelcomeIf you are new to Poms In Oz and migrating to Australia or currently living in Australia feel free to say hi to all the other either in or moving to Oz.
My name is Simon (36), I have a wife Carolyn and 2 Son's Adam and Reiss.
We are just starting our journey of applying for resedency in Australia.
Little concerened ()
My wife and I are partners in a Landscaping business which has been trading now for 4.5 years. I am looking at applying for a skilled sponsored migrant visa (SOL Landscape Gardener), we could get sponsored by my wifes brother who is soon to become an ozy citizen.
Any advice on the TRA application from any one who has applied who is in the same situation or trade would be gratefully recieved.

Hi Simon & Cam
I am a joiner myself all i can say is the TRA is a total nightmare you will both end up rowing because of it we have an an agent who kept us right every time we thought we had it done he wanted more and when you gave him more he would keep saying more, more, more but he did get us through it. People do fail their TRA so spend time on it get references they will want to see your accounts any invoices for years proof of training etc etc. But it is worth it when you pass.
hi again
i still have some paper work on my laptop that my agent sent me regards what the tra people will want from you. If you want it let me know and i will e-mail it to you.
Hi Simon and Cam , I too am hoping to emigrate , along with my wife and family , as a sponsored gardener although as a general gardener (4623-11). I have passed the TRA , but i was turned down for family sponsorship as our rellies live in an area which needs your trade to be on the MODL list which gardening is not. I now however have state sponsorship from Victoria . If you can be sponsored by a relative the person who is related has to be the main applicant even if it is the spouses trade which would be used. Any questions feel free to ask and i'll do my best to help you . PM me if you prefer . Good luck Ed
