I've got to say, the whole baby sitting thing is probably one of the hardest things for us.

Always difficult to get close enough to peeps you'd trust with your kids and it's even more difficult when you are building up your friend base from scratch again :)

Still, the folks are coming over to Oz for the first time this weekend so we might even get a night out (first time in 18 months)

I totally agree with you on finding people that you would trust to look after your children. Its so hard when you are in a country with out the people that know you best.

We have been here nearly 7 months now and I have to say there are very few people that we have met since being here that I would trust enough to look after my children if any....however Kirsty is one person that i would feel comfortable with.....so good luck to her!!!!

Hi Tracey,
We move out to Melbourne in 4 weeks not sure where we're staying, looking at Frankston South. Anyway we have three boys 6,3,1, we've never used babysitters as always had family to look after them so I wouldn't know where to start over there. If you would PM me your email address that would be great to have.

Casey is now out of hospital thank god!! The Doctors said that he was showing signs of the entricolitus, (that nearly killed him back in 2006 and put him in Great Ormond Street) which is caused by a tummy bug due to his bowel condition.

Anyway they put him on a drip and antibiotics and thankfully he is now ok and at home. We just have to keep an eye on him. As you can imagine we are so relieved to have him home with us and well again!!

Thank you so much for your concern and all your help over the weekend when Casey was rushed to hospital!!

Sorry not been in touch personally, been concentrating on our little angel!!

P.S If anyone is reading this then please do not worry about the health system here they have proven to be fantastic in a situation that could have been a case of life and death and for that we thank them!!
