Have you got a Case officer yet?. We couldn't attach all of our docs either, when we were allocated a co we emailed them and they asked us to email the rest of the docs through which we did. As far as meds we did ours before being officially asked to get them done, i assumed that because the online application stated we all needed them then that was their way of saying go get them done, however we were emailed by our co approx 10 days later and asked to go for meds, (one of those standard type emails) but at this point we had already had them done, they have now been finalised so not a problem. They cost us £700 for afamily of four but thats because OH and i will be working in healthcare and kids obviously will be in school/nursery.
You can use health centres which have online facilities which makes process quicker. We however chose to do paper copies and opted for a panel doctors whioch had xray facilities on site which sorted everything the same day.
I think DIAC are on minimal staffing over xmas so everything will be slowed down. Don't worry i'm sure they'll be in touch very soon.
Take care
Happy new year
