Hopefully no one else has that problem

I know you car salespeople cop a lot of flak just like us real estate sales types........ and 9 times out of 10 the flak is totally unwarranted. Unfortunately though....... just like the chap you mention above.......... I had the same misfortune to come across first hand someone who does your industry reputation no good at all!
When I was down and out and jobless in Perth as you do get from time to time........ I used to spend a lot of Sunday arvos down Ossie Park on Scarboro Beach Road.............. I'd pull the old banger of a van we had at the time off the main road.......... and I'd spend hours just dreaming as in awe I went from Jag to Jag in the car yard............ knowing full well that the only Jag I would ever own was the green E-Type the boys got me for my last birthday.
But I was wrong because come Christmas they got me a silver coloured XJS convertible which was just magic............ only trouble being they were both scale models .......... not the real thing!!
Anyway......... after lots of ups and downs.......... as is the norm in Perth......... a change in career saw me progress from being a long-term unemployed plumber and becoming a real estate sales person.......... with a whistle and flute. After a few more ups and downs along my new career path which was totally alien to me............... well eventually......... I guess you can say I cracked it!!
One client was so rapt with services rendered when I sold their house........ they gave me a thirty grand tip........... and that was on top of the thirty grand I had charged them......... but wait there's more as they say down-under............. a bloke a few streets away got me to sell his vacant block of land too so in a few weeks I had earned more than I'd expect to earn in a year............. yippee.......... no more bloody Centrelink imbeciles to contend with
Anyway........... with those two sales under my belt once Settlement occurred........ plus a belting previous month too..........well I'm all cashed up so off I toddle down to the local Jag dealer in Ossie Park. I wasn't in me real estate gear so maybe in fairness to the uppity sales person.......... I guess I didn't look the part in me flip-flops and board shorts........ plus I was fat! I also didn't really know exactly quite what it was I wanted ........ but surely that isn't an excuse for shoddy treatment............. or is it?
In my game I treat people the same irrespective as to how they look............ in Lancashire we used to have an old saying that went along the lines of "Where there's muck.......... there's money!" This prat of a salesman completely humiliated me......... he tried to sell me a near new demo X-Type which to me didn't really look like a Jag....... and it didn't feel like a Jag........... and i didn't want it.......... I wanted a proper Jag. He lost his rag and quote, "Had more important things to do than waste time with dreamers?"....... or words to that effect!!!
I was as sick as a parrot as this was the main Jag dealer in Perth.......... but......... as luck would have it.......... a bloke had a Jag repair and service centre and he asked me to sell it for him....... which I did........ but not before I asked this bloke to find me a Jag.......... one that looked and felt like a Jag........... and he did.............. and I ended up paying almost 25 grand on top of what the other demo model would have cost me.......... and I paid cash....... so who is a prat.......... is it me............. or the jumped up car salesman who looked more like a male model?
