Hello - have just been recommended to join this site - from what I have seen so far it seems a lot of others in UK are wanting to live the dream also and who could blame them My husband, me and our 3 kids hope to be living in Tasmania the sooner the better - we are currently working through the visa stage and I will be looking for any tips -
I will look forward to reading the posts and will try and help anyone else from UK if I can

Welcome to the site from one Newbie to another, I joined on Saturday last week and have already found out lot's of interesting stuff that I had no clue about before.

I have also been able to answer a few questions posted by others. It is great to know that you are not alone in your search for a better quality of life.

I am sure you will love reading all the threads, it is quite exciting when someone gets their visa, you feel really happy for them (if not a bit jealous).

Hi Jo Jerry Max Bradley and Dog.......thanks for your welcome - we have done the TRA and hope that my hubby Jeff will get backing from getting a job offer......have just spent days on doing the 176 visa and lodged it but after entering credit card details it took us back to the saved page at beginning and we had no confirmation that it had gone through??? am hoping it has been submitted - we are waiting to hear? any tips would be helpful - didn't want to risk putting in credit card details twice but awaiting a TRN ref to proceed with other things via government.........
We are also taking our whie GSD with us - his name is Saxon and he 1.5yrs what Dog do you have?
