Hi
Any one looking for bank accounts in Oz this may help?

We have opened a bank account with the Yorkshire Bank. they are part of the Clydesdale bank who are part of the N.A.B. we opened an account online with N.A.B. and we can transfer money online from the U.K.

Once all the detials are through I will post all web sites and details

Hi

HSBC also do the same , we have just opened a HSBC so we can transfer our money to their Aussie Branches.

Hi,
Just in the process of looking at bank accounts and wonder if you can tell me do HSBC charge for transfering money from U.K or from Oz back to U.K. It's just that we intend to keep some money here in the uk

Hi,

We looked at HSBC but they wanted two hundred pounds to set up an Australian account before we arrived. We decided to go with Yorkshire bank who are part of the National Australian Bank. All banks charge to transfer fund from one country to another, but NAB were reasonable and it was very easy to set up both accounts
